Dental Professionals
As a private non-profit organization, SLDDS relies solely on
donated services from you, the volunteer dental professionals,
as well as in-kind and monetary donations from the private sector.
Currently there is a shortage of volunteer dentists, hygienists,
and dental assistants. Our facility is located in the newly
built Sorenson Unity Center donated by Salt Lake City to serve
the low income populations. Our clinic has five operatories
with modern equipment readily available. Dentists are welcome
to bring their own dental assistants or use the experienced
and qualified dental assistants we have staffed at the clinic.
SLDDS offers a tremendous opportunity to give back to the community.
We understand how busy you are, that is why we are committed
to working with you and your schedule. We would appreciate one
half-day of your time per year. Your services will change the
lives of our community’s underserved.
